Hellas Verona presents new 30,000-seat stadium project to Municipality
Hellas Verona FC has formally submitted a feasibility study, known as the DOCFAP, to the Municipality of Verona regarding the construction of a new stadium. The proposal outlines a plan to demolish the existing Bentegodi stadium and replace it with a new, multi-functional facility on the same site.
The proposed stadium is designed to hold 30,000 spectators and will aim to meet international standards for accessibility, hospitality, and fan experience. If approved, the club intends for the venue to be capable of hosting matches for UEFA Euro 2032.
To ensure continuity for the club during the construction phase, the masterplan includes the creation of a temporary stadium in the immediate vicinity. The club noted that several alternatives—including renovating the current structure or relocating to a different part of the city—were evaluated but ultimately rejected in favor of a complete rebuild on the current site.
