Helldivers 2 announces new premium war bond for October

Arrowhead Game Studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment have announced ‘Alcance de la Autoridad’ (Authority Reach), a new premium war bond for Helldivers 2, set to release on October 20. The update focuses on long-range combat, precision, and tactical camouflage.

The new arsenal includes several specialized weapons: the R-40 ‘Observador certero’ (Sharpshooter), a bolt-action sniper rifle designed for high armor penetration; the P-44 ‘Bruma’ (Mist), a compact one-handed submachine pistol; and the AMW-20 ‘Cima’ (Apotheosis), a heavy anti-material rifle powered by a backpack system. Additionally, the LAS-44 ‘Nova’ energy rifle offers infinite ammunition with high-precision thermal projectiles, and the G-11 ‘Abrojos’ (Spikes) grenade disperses proximity-detonating submunitions to stun enemies.

For stealth and survivability, the update introduces new tactical armor. The SS-33 ‘Mariscal mimético’ (Mimetic Marshal) is a light armor set inspired by ghillie suits, utilizing light-diffusion technology for environmental camouflage. The SS-15 ‘Ponto Focal’ (Focal Point) provides medium protection with adaptive camouflage and an asymmetrical visor.
