Hellenic Air Force offers student helicopter flights

The Hellenic Air Force is offering high school students in their second year of Lyceum the opportunity to participate in helicopter flights at the Dekeleia Air Base on November 6, 2026. This initiative is part of the celebrations for the Patron Saint of the Air Force.

Interested students must submit electronic applications by October 29, 2026. Participants will be selected via a lottery scheduled for October 30, 2026. Selected students are required to provide parental consent, pass medical examinations for flight fitness at the Center for Aviation Medicine, and complete safety training. For students traveling from provincial areas, free accommodation and meals will be provided at Air Force facilities.
