Hellenic Anti-Cancer Society establishes Thesprotia branch

The Hellenic Anti-Cancer Society has established a new regional branch in Thesprotia, based in Igoumenitsa. The decision was approved by the society's Board of Directors on October 2, 2026.

Dimitrios Golias has been appointed as the President of the Governing Committee. The committee includes Vice President Christos Tsami, General Secretary Nicoleta Lamprou, and Treasurer Eirini Taklakoglou, alongside several other members.

The branch aims to focus on cancer prevention, public awareness, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles. Planned activities include educational events, lectures, and collaborations with local health agencies, schools, and municipal organizations to support patients and their families.
