Hellenic Brewers Association to host ‘Open Breweries’ event across Greece

The Hellenic Brewers Association is organizing the seventh annual ‘Open Breweries’ event, scheduled for Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, 2026. This initiative invites beer enthusiasts to visit several of the country’s most significant breweries and microbreweries.

Visitors can participate in guided tours of production and bottling facilities, learn about the brewing process and raw materials, and meet the producers. The event offers opportunities to taste various types of beer and discover the unique characteristics of different brews. Entry, tours, and tastings are free of charge, though pre-registration or following a priority sequence is recommended due to limited capacity.

Participating members include Athenian Brewery in Athens, Patra, and Thessaloniki; Piniou SA in Larissa; Ikaria Brewery in Ikaria; Cretan Breweries (Zidianakis) in Heraklion and Cretan Brewery in Chania; Kavala Microbrewery in Kavala; Cyclades Microbrewery in Tinos; Local Streets Beer in Volos; Mykonos Microbrewery in Mykonos; Septem in Evia; Olympiaki Brewery in Evia; Protypi Microbrewery in Thessaloniki; and Siris Craft Brewery in Serres.
