Hellenic Cadastre launches ‘metavoles’ digital property correction platform

The Hellenic Cadastre has launched ‘metavoles’, a new electronic platform designed to fully digitize the process of correcting the geometric elements of properties. Effective as of September 18, 2026, the platform allows for the digital submission and processing of requests regarding property boundaries, positions, shapes, or areas when cadastral maps do not reflect the actual physical state.

The system enables citizens, engineers, and judicial officers to manage the entire lifecycle of a correction request within a single digital environment. Property owners can log in using Taxisnet credentials to submit applications and assign technical tasks to engineers. Engineers then register the Electronic Diagram Code (KHD) of the geometric changes, which automatically updates the digital map.

The initiative aims to standardize procedures, increase transparency, and reduce the administrative burden on Cadastral Offices. Currently, the platform supports applications involving natural or legal persons, though it excludes the Greek State, general government agencies, and properties with unknown owners. In specific regions like Mytilene and Geras, the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) has advised owners to verify their cadastral imaging and consult engineers if discrepancies are found.
