Hellenic Cadastre to launch digital metavoles platform in 2026
Starting September 18, 2026, the Hellenic Cadastre will implement a new digital procedure for correcting the geometric data of properties through the “metavoles” online platform. This initiative aims to reduce bureaucracy by allowing individuals and legal entities to submit applications, objections, and appeals electronically without needing to visit a Cadastre Office in person.
Users can access the platform using their Taxisnet credentials. Applications can be filed by property owners, authorized persons, or engineers who have prepared the necessary geometric change diagrams. Once submitted, applications are automatically recorded in the cadastral books and property files. Decisions will be issued electronically by certified engineers in PDF format with electronic signatures.
The platform will integrate with the Hellenic Cadastre, the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), and the National Communication Registry, while ensuring personal data protection. This new system replaces previous correction procedures, though specific transitional exceptions exist for cases involving the State or General Government bodies.
