Hellenic Football Federation launches youth talent program

The Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) has launched the ‘Renaissance’ development program, a nationwide initiative aimed at identifying and promoting young female football talent. The program involves scouting sessions for U14 and U15 female players across 12 different cities in Greece.

Under the organizational leadership of Vasilis Kitsis, Technical Director of the Women's National Teams, and Giannis Samaras, the program manager, specialized technical teams will conduct evaluations. The scouting tour includes various regional locations such as Alexandroupoli, Serres, Thessaloniki, Volos, Igoumenitsa, Ioannina, Patras, Tripoli, Lamia, Heraklion, Rhodes, and Mytilene.

The initiative seeks to establish a modern development framework for Greek women's football by focusing on grassroots growth and the long-term evolution of young athletes.
