Hellenic Open University extends application deadline to September 1

The Hellenic Open University (HOU) has announced an extension for the submission of applications for its undergraduate and postgraduate study programs for the 2026–2027 academic year. The new deadline for applicants to complete their submissions via the university's electronic platform is September 1, 2026.

For the upcoming academic year, the university offers 9 undergraduate and 61 postgraduate programs covering various fields, including business administration, informatics, tourism, public administration, health, education, environment, and culture. Additionally, a Special Program for Pedagogical and Didactic Competence is available.

The application process is conducted entirely online, facilitating remote access for students regardless of their location. This distance learning methodology is designed to accommodate working professionals and parents. Selection is based on the order of application submission, with applicants exceeding available spots being designated as candidates on a waiting list.
