Hellenic Parliament honors World Marrow Donor Day

The Hellenic Parliament honored World Marrow Donor Day by supporting the efforts of the 'Vision of Hope' association. Nikitas Kaklamanis, President of the Parliament, visited an information booth at Syntagma Square to promote public awareness regarding bone marrow donation.

Kaklamanis issued a call to action, particularly to young citizens, describing the donation process as simple and stating that ‘this simple act can one day save a child’s life.’ He expressed the Parliament's ongoing support for the association, which was founded by Marianna Vardinogianni, and praised those continuing her legacy of life-saving work.

To mark the occasion, the Parliament building was illuminated in the colors of the 'Vision of Hope' association. The event included representatives from the 'Marianna V. Vardinogianni - Elpida' Children's Oncology Hospital and various volunteers.
