Hellenic Red Cross volunteers resuscitate man in Elassona

Volunteers from the Elassona Regional Branch of the Hellenic Red Cross successfully resuscitated a man approximately 50 years old after he lost consciousness and collapsed in the central square of Elassona.

The incident occurred while volunteers were nearby conducting a first aid awareness activity for dogs as part of national actions for World Dog Day. The rescue team performed Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), which brought the man back to life twice. Volunteers continued to provide first aid until an ambulance arrived to transport him to a hospital unit.
