Hellenic Sea Ways awarded intra-Cycladic ferry contract until 2029

The Greek Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy has concluded a tender for the coverage of intra-Cycladic ferry lines through October 31, 2029. The contract has been awarded to Hellenic Sea Ways, which will continue to operate the ferry Artemis on these routes for the next three years.

The subsidized routes include several connections: Syros to Tinos and Andros; Syros to Kythnos, Kea, and Lavrio; Syros to Paros, Serifos, Sifnos, Kimolos, and Milos; and Syros to Paros, Naxos, Ios, Sikinos, Folegandros, Kimolos, and Milos. The contract allows for a potential four-month extension beyond the 2029 deadline.
