Hellenic Table Tennis Federation apologizes for Elefsina match conditions

The Hellenic Table Tennis Federation (EFOEPA) has issued a formal apology to athletes, coaches, and clubs regarding the conditions of the recent A1 and A2 men’s and women’s category matches held at the Elefsina gymnasium.

The Federation stated that the limited space and resulting overcrowding failed to meet the required standards for the competition. This venue was selected due to a difficult and forced circumstance following the Federation’s departure from the Peace and Friendship Stadium, which had served as its primary competitive base.

EFOEPA has committed to working immediately to ensure that future competitions are held in facilities that meet the appropriate standards for athletes and sports clubs.
