HELLENiQ ENERGY CEO discusses energy market volatility at ADIPEC

Andreas Siamisis, CEO of HELLENiQ ENERGY, participated in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) in the United Arab Emirates. During the event, Siamisis addressed global energy market turbulence, describing such volatility as the “new normality” following the economic crisis, the pandemic, the Russia-Ukraine war, and recent crises in the Persian Gulf.

Siamisis emphasized that while these disruptions pose risks, they also create opportunities for companies that integrate flexibility into their systems through diversified resources, supplies, and markets. He noted that HELLENiQ ENERGY has adapted its business model through a transformation plan, securing its system against crises by diversifying supply sources and maintaining adequate reserves. He highlighted the strategic importance of the company’s three coastal refineries located in the Mediterranean.
