Heller Solari family completes division of assets and Falabella stakes
The Heller Solari family has finalized the division of their family fortune, marking a significant restructuring of their business interests. Liliana Solari Falabella and her children, Andrea and Carlos Heller Solari, have concluded negotiations to separate assets held through Bethia S.A. The division aims for an equitable distribution of diverse holdings, including retail, media, private healthcare, freight transport, the dairy industry, and horse racing.
A major component of this wealth is tied to their stake in the Chilean retail giant Falabella. Following recent transactions, Bethia S.A. holds approximately 3.88% of the retailer, a stake valued at roughly US$667 million at recent market closes.
This restructuring coincides with broader movements among Falabella's founding families, who have been selling shares throughout the year. These divestments include operations by the Díaz del Río, Cuneo, and del Río families, as well as previous sales by the Heller Solari group, reflecting a period of significant changes in the company's shareholding structure.
