Hello Games to reveal more on Light No Fire as development continues

Hello Games studio head Sean Murray has indicated that the development of the ambitious fantasy title ‘Light No Fire’ is progressing at a full pace, with more information expected to be revealed to the public in the future.

Originally announced at The Game Awards 2023, the game is described as a cooperative adventure featuring exploration, survival, and construction on a massive, procedurally generated fantasy planet comparable in size to Earth.

Despite the high level of anticipation, the studio has intentionally scaled back marketing efforts. Following the initial trailer, the game reached the second position on Steam’s most-wishlisted games list, leading the studio to prioritize uninterrupted development over promotional campaigns. Murray noted that the team of approximately 50 employees is focused on the technical complexities of the project, aiming to avoid the excessive hype that characterized previous releases like ‘No Man’s Sky’ to ensure expectations remain manageable.
