HelloFresh launches The Curious Kitchen exhibit at London’s Natural History Museum
HelloFresh has opened an interactive family experience called The Curious Kitchen at the Natural History Museum in London. Running until August 2026, the exhibit lets children and parents explore how food travels from farm to table, harvest virtual ingredients and learn about seasonality. The initiative follows research commissioned by HelloFresh, which found that about one‑in‑five British children aged six to eight mistakenly think fruit and vegetables appear magically in shops, with many misunderstanding where common foods such as broccoli, kiwis and chicken nuggets come from. Partnering with gardener Gerald Stratford, the experience aims to close this knowledge gap and revive conversations about food origins at the dinner table.
The research surveyed 500 children and highlighted widespread misconceptions about the source of produce, prompting HelloFresh’s broader "Bring Back Dinnertime" campaign to engage families in learning about the food journey.
