Helloween frontman Michael Kiske says next album is 90% finished

In a July 2026 interview with Brazil’s Rock Mania, Helloween vocalist Michael Kiske revealed that the band’s next studio album is already at least 90 percent complete. He noted that the follow‑up to the 2025 release *Giants & Monsters* progressed faster because the lineup – Kiske, Kai Hansen, Andi Deris, Michael Weikath, Sascha Gerstner, Markus Grosskopf and Daniel Löble – has been stable for several years, removing early‑stage uncertainties.

Kiske also said he rarely re‑listens to finished recordings, having only checked mixes for *Helloween* (2021) and *Giants & Monsters* during production. The *Giants & Monsters* album was mixed at the famed Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum, Netherlands, and released through Reigning Phoenix Music. The new material reflects a more organic vibe and abundant song ideas, according to Kiske.
