Helloween guitarist Michael Weikath rules out new Keeper saga album

Helloween guitarist and founding member Michael Weikath has dismissed rumors regarding a potential fourth installment in the band’s iconic ‘Keeper Of The Seven Keys’ saga. In a recent interview, Weikath addressed speculation that a ‘Keeper IV’ might be in development, clarifying that previous mentions of the title were merely jokes made during discussions.

Weikath argued against releasing a new chapter in the series, stating that doing so would be ‘very repetitive’ and could be perceived by fans as a lack of original ideas. He emphasized that the band prefers to evolve musically rather than attempting to replicate past formulas.

While the band is considering future work following their August 2025 release ‘Giants & Monsters’, Weikath noted that any upcoming material will require significant effort and is not being rushed.
