Helloworld Travel expands Australian network with 14 new locations

Helloworld Travel Limited has expanded its Australian network by opening, announcing, or committing to 14 new store locations over the past 18 months. This growth includes new independent agencies joining the network, such as Delta Holidays and Barrow and Bear, as well as existing members expanding their footprints.

Planned and secured locations include Helloworld Travel Hampton, Mt Gravatt Plaza, Nerang, Waverley Gardens, and Dutton Park. Future openings are scheduled through 2027, with branded locations announced for Chadstone in Melbourne and Miranda in New South Wales, alongside upcoming sites in Elanora, Wagga Wagga, Toowong, North Lakes, and Whitford City.

In addition to physical retail growth, the company has strengthened its home-based advisory segment. Following the October 2025 acquisition of the remaining 50 per cent of Mobile Travel Holdings (trading as MTA – Mobile Travel Agents), Helloworld now holds 100 per cent ownership of a network comprising 450 home-based advisors and 60 head-office staff.

CEO and Managing Director Andrew Burnes AO stated that the expansion demonstrates the ongoing value consumers place on expert travel advice, noting that experienced advisors remain essential for navigating complex travel arrangements despite evolving booking technologies.
