Helly Shah discusses artistic growth in upcoming series ‘Chumbak’

Actress Helly Shah has expressed that her role in the upcoming streaming series ‘Chumbak’ has allowed her to evolve as an artist. During promotions in Mumbai, Shah noted that the project marks her first full-fledged comedy role, specifically through her character, Twinkle.

Shah shared that the experience helped her discover a comedic side she previously did not know existed. She also discussed the challenges faced by actors transitioning from television to OTT platforms, noting the difficulty of breaking away from the ‘TV actress’ label despite building strong fan bases through traditional media.

‘Chumbak’ is scheduled for release on Netflix on September 10.
