HelmGuard raises $7.3 million for AI-driven compliance platform
London-based startup HelmGuard has secured $7.3 million in seed funding to develop its agentic governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) and security platform. The investment round was co-led by Infinity Ventures and Frontline, with additional participation from FinTech Collective, Stage 2 Capital, and Entrepreneurs First.
Founded by former Palantir executive John Daley and CTO Jack Miller, HelmGuard utilizes specialized AI agents to automate risk management and compliance workflows. Unlike traditional platforms that focus on documenting processes, HelmGuard’s technology integrates directly with source systems and unstructured data to collect and assess risk signals in real time. This approach aims to reduce assessment cycles from weeks to hours by automating third-party risk management, control gap assessments, and AI agent assurance.
The platform is designed for highly regulated sectors, including financial services, healthcare, insurance, and industrial industries. By providing citations and reasoning traces alongside human oversight, the system supports internal reviews and reporting to regulators and auditors.
