Helmond Sport secures first seasonal victory against VVV-Venlo

Helmond Sport secured their first victory of the new season with a 4-2 win against VVV-Venlo at the MySteel Stadion. Entering the match, Helmond Sport had struggled to find success, having earned only two points from their previous four matches.

Despite facing significant pressure and surrendering a comfortable lead during the game, Helmond Sport managed to turn the match around in the final stages. Substitute Mauro Lenaerts was the decisive player, scoring two late goals to seal the win against the Limburg-based side.
