Helmond Sport signs attacking midfielder Joep van der Sluijs

Helmond Sport has strengthened its squad by signing 24-year-old attacking midfielder Joep van der Sluijs on a one-season contract. The left-footed player is described as a versatile attacking option who can play in the midfield or on either flank.

Van der Sluijs brings significant experience from the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, having previously played for N.E.C., TOP Oss, and FC Dordrecht. During his time at FC Dordrecht, he recorded six goals and four assists in fifty league matches. Technical Manager Dirk Jan Derksen noted that Van der Sluijs provides valuable experience to the club's young squad and serves as a timely reinforcement at the end of the transfer window.
