Helmut Newton Foundation to host major photography exhibition in Berlin

The Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin will host the exhibition ‘White Women / Sleepless Nights / Big Nudes’ from December 3, 2026, to May 16, 2027. The showcase features over 200 photographs drawn from three of the photographer’s central books: ‘White Women’, ‘Sleepless Nights’, and ‘Big Nudes’.

The exhibition commemorates the 50th anniversary of Newton’s first photography book, ‘White Women’. In addition to exhibition prints, the foundation will display original materials related to the creation and publication of the books, including book mock-ups with various cover designs, small-format working prints, and ‘Lifetime Prints’ used as templates for original printing.

To coincide with the event, TASCHEN Verlag will release a new edition of ‘White Women’ in the autumn of 2026. This version will largely follow the historical original with layout adjustments and will be published in three languages, including a text by Philippe Garner.
