Helsingborg expands efforts to become a film production hub

Helsingborg is working to establish itself as a prominent film city in the Skåne region through a strategic cooperation agreement with Film i Skåne. The city aims to attract long-form films and drama series by offering streamlined permit processes, clear communication channels, and support for local businesses.

As part of this initiative, the dramacomedy ‘Kärlek och andra diagnoser’ is scheduled for a gala premiere at the Röda Kvarn cinema on October 27. Much of the film was shot on location in Helsingborg, utilizing the city’s streets, squares, and architecture as its backdrop.
