Helsinki stock exchange rises as IQM and UPM-Kymmene gain

The Helsinki stock exchange has seen upward movement, with the OMXH general index rising approximately 0.6 percent. Notable gainers include IQM, which surged over 11 percent following a buy recommendation from Nordea, as well as Gofore and Savox.

UPM-Kymmene shares also recorded a moderate increase, rising 1.19 percent to reach 23.05 euros on the Helsinki market. Despite this recent recovery, the stock remains down approximately 6.40 percent since the beginning of the year.

Other significant market activity includes a 2.7 percent rise in Nokia shares. Conversely, SRV and Kreate Group experienced declines of 4.8 percent and 4.0 percent, respectively. In corporate leadership news, Nordea announced that Sara Mellander will step down as head of retail customers, to be succeeded by Per Lånsvedt in November.
