HEM International University to launch in Morocco for 2026-2027 academic year

HEM is transitioning to the status of HEM International University, with official activities scheduled to begin for the 2026-2027 academic year. This transformation expands the institution's scope beyond its historical management school roots to include a broader academic offering.

The university's structure will comprise a Business School with locations in Casablanca and Rabat, the Averroes Engineering School, a Faculty of Law, and a division dedicated to Executive Education. The governance model involves a partnership between LCI Education, CDG Invest (an investment subsidiary of the CDG Group), and Averroes Holding, supported by a strategic and scientific council.

A central pillar of the new university is the alignment of curricula with labor market needs. The pedagogical model emphasizes professionalization through work-study programs, increased professional experience during studies, and the co-construction of training programs alongside employers. Additionally, the university intends to leverage the LCI Education network to enhance international mobility and academic partnerships.
