Funfarme has introduced a new digital platform to streamline blood donation scheduling at the Hemocentro de Rio Preto. The tool allows donors to select specific locations, dates, and times online, aiming to increase volunteer participation and improve service accessibility.

Donors can access the system by messaging Funfarme via WhatsApp and following the provided link. The service covers units in São José do Rio Preto and Catanduva. The platform supports both individual appointments and group requests, with the latter being reviewed by the Hemocentro team to ensure availability.

Andreia Garcia, the Hemocentro's technical director, stated that digital scheduling makes it easier for donors to plan or cancel appointments, which helps organize the service and distribute donors more effectively throughout available time slots.
