HEMOSC Extends Job Deadline and Holds Blood Drive in Santa Catarina

The Hematology and Hemotherapy Center of Santa Catarina (HEMOSC) in Florianópolis has extended the application deadline for its exclusive administrative assistant position for people with disabilities. Candidates now have until 10 July 2026 to apply for a 30‑hour weekly role with a salary of R$1,477.12 plus benefits, performing tasks such as handling biological material, inventory control, and basic IT support.

On Tuesday, 14 May, HEMOSC will conduct an external blood‑collection campaign in Nova Veneza at Hospital São Marcos from 08:00 to 16:45. Donors must schedule by phone, present a photo ID, and meet age (16‑69), weight (≥50 kg), and health requirements. Secretary of Health Kristian Mazzucco emphasized, “Donating blood saves lives and this is a way to help people we may never meet.” The drive targets blood types A‑, A+, O‑ and O+ to bolster regional blood stocks.
