Henderson to host Día de los Muertos celebration

The Día de los Muertos celebration is returning to Central Park in downtown Henderson, Kentucky, on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The free community event will run from 4 to 7 p.m. and serves as an opportunity for the local Latino community to share Mexican traditions of remembrance and honoring deceased loved ones.

The festivities will include live mariachi music, traditional dancers, face painting, crafts, and a children's parade. A central part of the evening will be a candlelight procession dedicated to honoring those who have passed away. Attendees can also access food trucks and a beer garden during the event.
