Hendrik Beikirch unveils textile-themed mural in Bielsko-Biała

German artist Hendrik Beikirch has completed a large-scale monochromatic mural in Bielsko-Biała. Located at Młyńska 8a, the portrait features Elżbieta Targosz-Wrona, a former academic and lecturer at the textile faculty of the Bielsko-Biała branch of the Lodz University of Technology.

The artwork was created as part of the ‘Off-Road’ international artist residency and the ‘Street Art Academy’ project organized by Galeria Bielska BWA. Rather than serving as an individual monument, the portrait is intended to symbolize the textile industry history and the thousands of people who shaped the city's industrial identity.
