Hendrik Wüst hosts North Rhine-Westphalia Consular Corps reception

Minister President Hendrik Wüst hosted the North Rhine-Westphalia Consular Corps for a summer reception at the NRW State Stud in Warendorf on July 22, 2026. The event was attended by approximately 80 representatives from various foreign diplomatic and consular missions.

During his address, Wüst emphasized the vital role of diplomatic work in maintaining stable relationships and fostering mutual understanding. He described the consular corps as reliable partners for the state government, providing a foundation for openness and trust. Massimo Cipolletti, the Consul General of the Italian Republic, served as the dean for the Consular Corps. The event coincided with the 200th anniversary of the state stud and included a presentation of stallions by the director of the German Riding School, Dr. Felix Austermann.
