Henkel reports strong H1 2026 sales and expands via acquisitions
Henkel reported strong financial results for the first half of 2026, with group sales reaching 10.3 billion euros and an organic sales increase of 3.2%. Driven by positive developments in both price and volume, the company has upgraded its organic sales growth forecast for the group to a range of 1.5% to 3.5%, up from the previous 1% to 3% estimate.
In its Adhesive Technologies division, organic sales grew by 4.5%, supported by the Mobility & Electronics sector and pricing initiatives to offset raw material costs. The Consumer Brands division saw 1.7% organic growth, bolstered by the Hair category and a return to growth in Laundry Care.
The company is aggressively pursuing a growth strategy through mergers and acquisitions. Henkel has agreed to five acquisitions totaling approximately 5 billion euros, four of which are already complete. Notably, the acquisition of premium hair care brand OLAPLEX strengthens Henkel’s position in the professional hair care market, contributing approximately 370 million euros in annual sales.
