Henny Reistad enters national team camp in peak form
Henny Reistad has entered the Norwegian national team camp in exceptional form following a prolific start to the season with Team Esbjerg. The 27-year-old back player has scored 70 goals in just eight matches, maintaining an 84 percent scoring efficiency. Reistad currently leads the top scorer lists in both the Champions League and the Danish league.
Norway is preparing to face Hungary in the semifinals of the EHF Euro Cup Final4 in Bucharest. National team coach Ole Gustav Gjekstad noted that the squad's physical condition is significantly better than this time last year, with key players like Reistad and Nora Mørk being injury-free.
However, the squad faces some changes and absences. Veronica Kristiansen is managing a knee injury, and players Maren Aardahl, Malin Aune, and Anniken Wollik are unavailable due to pregnancy. Additionally, Katrine Lunde has retired from her career. Conversely, Silje Solberg-Østhassel and Kari Brattset Dale have returned to the national team.
