Henri IV Castle-Museum hosts mystery and history events

The Henri IV Castle-Museum in Nérac is hosting a series of themed events from August 18 to August 20. These activities focus on history, mystery, and immersive investigation.

On August 18, the museum will host ‘Crime au château,’ a Cluedo-style mystery game designed for children aged 9 to 12, where participants must solve a fictional murder involving a museum curator. On August 19, a heritage tour titled ‘Laissez-vous conter les jardins du Roi’ will be available for those over 16, offering a guided walk through the Garenne park and the King's gardens to explore the history of the royal domain.

The programming concludes on August 20 with ‘Mystère à la cour,’ a Murder Party for participants aged 12 and older. This event invites guests to take on Renaissance-era roles to solve a historical mystery involving an act of sorcery within the castle.
