Henriette Lien discusses impact of fame from ‘Hotel Cæsar’

Actress Henriette Lien has spoken openly about the mental health challenges following her rise to fame in the Norwegian television series ‘Hotel Cæsar’. Lien, who played the role of Ninni Anker-Hansen for two years, described how the sudden national recognition led to periods of social anxiety.

In the podcast ‘Råning med Tone’, the 56-year-old actress shared that the fame made it difficult to look people in the eye and significantly altered her career path, preventing her from returning to her original life as a stage dancer. While she stated she does not regret her career choices, she noted that the intense attention was more than she had anticipated.
