Henrik Palm announces new solo album ‘Idiot Plot’

Swedish multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Henrik Palm has announced the release of his fourth solo album, titled ‘Idiot Plot’. The record is scheduled to debut on December 4 via Svart Records.

Palm, a veteran of the Swedish underground scene, was a member of the band Ghost from 2015 to 2016 and previously played with In Solitude. His musical style is noted for its genre-defying nature, moving between heavy metal, post-punk, and krautrock.

Described as his most psychedelic and direct work to date, ‘Idiot Plot’ was developed following a period of burnout. The album is expected to align with the underground aesthetic of the Finnish label Svart Records, which specializes in doom, black metal, and psychedelic rock.
