Henry Cejudo set for professional boxing debut against Javon Walton

Former UFC two-division champion and Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo is set to make his professional boxing debut on September 26 in Miami, Florida. Cejudo will face actor Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton, known for his role in the HBO series ‘Euphoria’.

The bout will headline Misfits Boxing at the James L. Knight Arena. Walton, who holds a professional record of 3-0-1, is signed to Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions.

Cejudo was originally scheduled to fight influencer Deen the Great, but the match was changed after Shabazz withdrew due to a shoulder injury. Cejudo, 39, transitioned toward boxing following a combat sports career that included championship reigns in the flyweight and bantamweight divisions of the UFC.
