Henry Cejudo to make professional boxing debut in Miami

Former UFC two-division champion and Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo is set to make his professional boxing debut on September 26 in Miami. Cejudo will compete in a Misfits Boxing event against influencer Deen The Great.

The 38-year-old athlete, known as ‘Triple C’, previously achieved significant success in wrestling and mixed martial arts, capturing titles in both the flyweight and bantamweight divisions. While Cejudo is transitioning from the octagon to the boxing ring, he possesses prior experience in the sport, having won the Arizona State Copper Gloves tournament in 2010.

His opponent, 25-year-old Deen The Great, is primarily recognized for his social media presence and has experience within the Misfits Boxing circuit. The matchup highlights the growing trend of crossover bouts that pair established combat sports champions with digital content creators.
