Henry Pérez reports death threats following HLV investment collapse
Henry Pérez, the former operations director of HLV (Horizonline Investment Group), has reported receiving death threats against himself and his family following the collapse of the platform. The company is currently under scrutiny for an alleged pyramid scheme in Nueva Arcadia, Copán, which has caused significant financial losses for many Hondurans.
Pérez, a pastor, stated that he has filed a formal complaint with the Dirección Policial de Investigaciones (DPI). He maintains that his role was limited to creating promotional and motivational videos for social media and denies having ever managed or held the investors' funds. He claims that all transactions were conducted electronically and that he, along with his family members, also lost money invested in the platform.
While acknowledging that promoting the platform was a mistake, Pérez insists he believed the investment mechanism was legitimate at the time. He has called for investigations to identify the individuals who actually managed the company's resources and are responsible for the financial losses.
