Hensoldt Chairman sells 10,000 shares amid stock price decline

Reiner Winkler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Hensoldt, sold 10,000 shares on August 17 at a price of 94.71 euros per share, totaling approximately 947,000 euros. The transaction was disclosed via a mandatory notification the following day.

The sale occurs amid a period of stock price volatility, with the company's shares trading significantly below their 52-week high of 117.70 euros. While insider sales can occur for various private reasons and do not inherently signal corporate instability, the timing has drawn market attention as the stock has recently faced downward pressure.

Despite the share price fluctuations, Hensoldt's operational metrics show significant growth. In the first half of the year, the company reported a 24 percent increase in revenue to 1.17 billion euros and a substantial rise in order intake, which grew from 1.41 billion to 2.81 billion euros. The company's order backlog has reached a record of over 10 billion euros, and adjusted EBITDA rose from 107 million to 137 million euros.
