Author Hera Lind to join Vasco da Gama South Pacific cruise

Bestselling author and TV presenter Hera Lind is scheduled to join the Vasco da Gama for a 30-day cruise through the South Pacific from January 22 to February 20, 2027. Organized by the Stuttgart-based cruise provider nicko cruises, the voyage is the sixth route of a grand world tour, traveling from Papeete, Tahiti, to Manila.

During the trip, Lind will host inspiring writing workshops to encourage guests' creativity and participate in talk rounds where she will share personal insights into her career and life. The itinerary includes destinations such as French Polynesia, Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Lind, who has sold over 22 million copies of her works, is a prominent figure in the German-speaking literary world. Based in Salzburg, she has transitioned from writing lighthearted women's novels in the 1990s to focusing on fact-based novels inspired by true life stories since 2010.
