Heraklion: Driver injured in collision between agricultural vehicle and tanker

A serious traffic accident occurred in the Kardulianos area of Kastelli, within the Minoa Pediada municipality of Heraklion, Crete. An agricultural vehicle collided with a tanker truck, causing the smaller vehicle to overturn.

The driver of the agricultural vehicle sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital by an EKAB ambulance.

Local residents have expressed significant concern regarding road safety in the area, noting a high frequency of accidents involving heavy vehicles. Residents specifically cited the unpaved bypass road used by professional drivers, which they claim creates dust clouds that impair visibility and impact public health.
