The 47th Rally Crete officially commenced in Heraklion on Friday afternoon, October 23. The ceremonial start was held at the Dikaisiosyni pedestrian zone, led by Heraklion Mayor Alexis Kalokairinos and local officials.

This year's event holds significant weight as it serves as the final race of the Panhellenic Championship, attracting participants from Athens, throughout Greece, and from abroad. The rally is organized by the Athletic Club of Crete (A.O.K.).

A special super-special stage is scheduled to take place in the center of Heraklion for the first time. This route is set to begin at 20:30 from Ikariou Avenue, passing the Archaeological Museum, and concluding at Eleftherias Square.
