Heraklion Municipal Council to convene on September 28

The Heraklion Municipal Council is scheduled to convene on Monday, September 28, at 16:00 at the Municipal Premises in the Eleftheriou Venizelou hall (Loggia).

The agenda includes the submission of the annual financial report for the 2025 fiscal year and the restructuring of the 2026 budget based on requests from the Office of the Deputy Mayor of Finance and Developmental Planning, as well as the Treasury and Education departments.

Other items for discussion involve the examination of DEPANAL S.A.’s 2025 annual financial report and 2025-2026 artistic period report, as well as municipal lighting issues. Additional topics include the granting of property use in the Chrysopegi area, the use of municipal property by the Skalania Motorcyclists Association in November, and the approval of a tourist sightseeing train operated by Tsalos & Co EE. The council will also address cemetery ossuary management and the re-leasing of the canteen at the 23rd Municipal School of Heraklion.
