Herbalife announces CEO transition and interim leadership

Herbalife Ltd. has announced that Chief Executive Officer Stephan Gratziani will transition from his role effective October 31, 2026. Following this transition, Gratziani will serve as a consultant focused on strategy and business development while returning his primary focus to his independent distributorship.

John DeSimone, the company’s Chief Financial Officer, will serve as Interim CEO beginning November 1, 2026. The Board of Directors has established a committee to oversee the succession process. Gratziani, who joined the executive team in August 2023, noted that with the business having returned to growth, the company is ready to enter a new phase focused on execution and operations.

This leadership change follows a period of executive turnover at the nutrition supplement maker. DeSimone will be the fifth person to serve as CEO within the last decade.
