Herbalife Survey Finds 82% of Asia‑Pacific Consumers Prioritize Holistic Health

Herbalife released the results of its APAC Wellness Culture Survey 2026, conducted in May 2026 with more than 10,000 respondents across eleven Asia‑Pacific markets – Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

The poll shows that 82 % of participants consider holistic health—encompassing physical, mental and emotional wellbeing—very or extremely important, and 74 % say health matters more to them than three years ago. Respondents report heightened attention to sleep quality (44 %), mental‑wellness and stress management (38 %), nutrition (31 %) and weight control (30 %). Main motivations cited are aging (46 %), personal health concerns (42 %), growing awareness of wellness trends (32 %) and a willingness to invest in long‑term health (31 %).

Thomas Harms, Managing Director for Asia Pacific at Herbalife, said the shift reflects a broader cultural move toward integrating healthy habits into everyday life, supported by science‑backed nutrition, personalized guidance and community support. The most common wellness actions now are regular exercise (45 %), healthier eating (45 %), better sleep habits (42 %) and taking supplements (38 %).
