Herceg Novi announces market renovation and flood prevention tenders

The Municipality of Herceg Novi has announced several infrastructure and urban development initiatives. A tender will soon be issued for the renovation of the City Market area, which includes facade improvements and the planned installation of a monument to Mirko Komnenović. As part of this project, market vendors have been instructed to temporarily relocate their stalls to the ‘small market’ by October 1st to allow for construction.

Additionally, the municipality has launched a tender for flood prevention measures in Zelenica. The project, valued at 15,000 euros, involves cleaning and deepening two branches of a stream that flow into the Opačica to mitigate the risk of flooding in the Kutsko polje area during heavy rainfall. The works will include removing branches, trees, and other debris to ensure unobstructed water flow.
