Herceg Novi Strip Festival bottle found in Italy

A message in a bottle released by the Herceg Novi Strip Festival (HSF) has been recovered in Monticelli, Italy. The bottle, which contained a comic work by artist Selene Danilović from Novi Sad, was found by a man named Bred from South Africa while he was swimming.

The bottle was originally cast into the sea on September 8, during the penultimate day of the festival. This event marks the fifteenth bottle recovered through the ‘Comic in a Bottle’ program, a tradition established by the festival seven years ago to symbolically connect different shores and cultures through art.

Upon being notified, the finder expressed interest in locating the artist and invited the festival team to visit him in Cape Town.
